The Tuscia Operafestival presents an eclectically cultural program of grand opera, symphony concerts, dances, and theatre in July / August. Viterbo is the main town were this second edition is held but also includes the towns of Montefiascone, Valentano, Civita di Bagnoregio, Acquapendente and Orvieto. Dedicated audiences have supported and enjoyed the festival’s program of quality and innovation. Artists of international reputation and talented young artists, many of which have been selected through the lyric competition “Fedora Barbieri - Citta di Viterbo�.

This Roman summer event at Villa Torniola and the Teatro Marcello presents performers from all over the world and offers a varied repertoireâ€"solo recitals, chamber music, polyphonic choirs, composers ranging through Baroque, Classicism, Romanticism and avant-garde.

Estate Romana Festival offers a diverse program of jazz, rock, classical music, film, sport, theatre and children’s entertainment. Multiple venues throughout the city of Rome include parks, courtyards, art galleries and around ancient monuments. The program features entertainment from around the world in Rome’s historic venuesâ€"there is even a cabaret festival held near the Colisseum on Oppio Hill. Overlooking the Tiber River on Gianicolo Hill in Trastevere there are late-night open-air screenings of popular films that are projected on massive screens in Vittorio Emmanuele Square.

The annual Festival Internazionale del Teatro Urbano invades streets all over Rome, aiming to transform urban spaces into theatre spaces and the pedestrian into the extraordinary. The first dayâ€"the "off" festival is dedicated to young performers and alternative theatre. The various events take place in set locations throughout the city, on street corners and in other random urban sites.
